To date, the Jackson Heart Foundation has invested over $2 million in programming that align with our mission and goals.

Our Current Projects

  • Museum Trail

Museum Trail is a multi-use trail connecting the city to museums, parks, and communities. This program is devoted to creating a healthier Jackson that increases access to outdoor exercise, promotes mental health, and increases the quality of life for our community. The Museum Trail is currently in its first phase of completion.

  • Mission First Playground

The Jackson Heart Foundation raised funds to purchase and install new playground equipment for an early learning center and after school program. These programs will benefit greatly from new playground equipment and provide children with the opportunity to play outside in a safe play environment.

  • The Get Heart Smart

This program was developed to educate children regarding 3 facets of heart health through an interactive program that can travel throughout the state. In the Get Heart Smart program students learn about the anatomy of the circulatory system and its primary functions using a larger-than-life heart and lungs floor map.
